| Yippeee!!!
Both Mark and I passed the MSF class yesterday! It was an amazing experience. If you ever plan on riding a scooter or motorcycle you should definitely consider taking the course! We learned so much about safety and controlling the bike. I think the best thing is the confidence we now have in ourselves. I am by no means saying I am ready for anything, but I am ready to get my scooter and go down to the empty parking lot and practice. Hopefully this week my buddy will come in!! |

| So. . . We put down a deposit for the scooter below!! It should be here this week or next! I am super excited. We are also taking the MSF course this weekend which I am pretty nervous about. I am sure I will learn a ton though.
In other news I am taking two engineering courses this summer (2+ hours a day, 3 days a week each!) and working roughly 25 hours a week. So I am a bit stressed! |

| So I am totally in love. . . with a scooter.
My husband had a 50cc vespa which was stolen back in feb. He had it for about 2 years and I had only ridden it about a dozen time. I truly loved it though! It was a sad day.
Well we are really getting our finances under control and with gas prices as they are we are considering getting another scooter. He has been researching several different, larger models and I was trying to help him decide. When I came across the Genuine Buddy St. Tropez. At 150 cc it is much more powerful than the vespa was and goes much faster. It is just so cute and such a great value with the price of gas growing so quickly!
So I just bought a new helmet and leather riding jacket. We are signed up for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) course for July 5 & 6. Where they teach you about riding and you learn important strategies to stay safe while riding. Plus if you pass the class you get the waiver to get your motorcycle riders licence. I am looking for boots and gloves to complete (well for now) my safety gear. I so hope we can get both scooters, but if not I will be set to ride on Mark's! |
